The Standing Committee on Official Languages met at 8:45 a.m. this day, in Room C-110, 1 Wellington Street, the Chair, the Hon. Michael D. Chong, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: Robert Aubin, Hon. Mauril Bélanger, Ray Boughen, Hon. Michael D. Chong, Yvon Godin, Jacques Gourde, Dan Harris, Costas Menegakis, Élaine Michaud, Bernard Trottier, John Weston and John Williamson.

 

In attendance: Library of Parliament: Lucie Lecomte, Analyst.

 

Witnesses: Department of Human Resources and Skills Development: Stephen Johnson, Director General, Evaluation Directorate, Strategic Policy and Research Branch; David McGovern, Senior Assistant Deputy Minister, Strategic Policy and Research Branch. Canada School of Public Service: Nancie Cantin, Director, Research and Development. Treasury Board Secretariat: Ross MacLeod, Assistant Deputy Minister, Governance Planning and Policy Sector; Marc Tremblay, Executive Director, Official Languages.

 
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(f) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, September 29, 2011, the Committee resumed its study on the evaluation of the Roadmap: improving programs and service delivery.
 

David McGovern, Nancie Cantin and Ross MacLeod made statements and, with Marc Tremblay and Stephen Johnson, answered questions.

 

At 9:44 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 9:50 a.m., the sitting resumed.

 

The Committee resumed consideration on the evaluation of the Roadmap: improving programs and service delivery. Questioning of the witnesses resumed.

 

At 10:40 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
