The Standing Committee on Procedure and House Affairs met in camera at 11:03 a.m. this day, in Room 112-N, Centre Block, the Chair, Joe Preston, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: Harold Albrecht, Yvon Godin, Mario Laframboise, Tom Lukiwski, Joe Preston, Marcel Proulx, Yasmin Ratansi, Scott Reid and Terence Young.

 

Acting Members present: Scott Armstrong for Scott Reid, Bernard Généreux for Steven Blaney, David J. McGuinty for Judy Foote, Pierre A. Paquette for Claude DeBellefeuille and Hon. Bob Rae for Yasmin Ratansi.

 

Other Members present: Paul Dewar and Hon. John McKay.

 

In attendance: Library of Parliament: Nicolas Auclair, Analyst; Andre Barnes, Analyst. House of Commons: Jean Michel Roy, Procedural Clerk.

 
Pursuant to the Order of Reference of Wednesday, March 9, 2011, the Committee resumed consideration of the question of privilege relating to statements made by the Minister of International Cooperation.
 

At 11:05 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

 

The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

 

At 11:35 a.m., the sitting resumed.

 

It was agreed, — That the Committee proceed to sit in public.

 

At 11:36 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 11:37 a.m., the sitting resumed in public.

 

The Committee adopted revisions to the draft report.

 

Marcel Proulx moved, — That the Committee meet today at 3:00 p.m. to resume consideration of the draft report, concerning its study of the question of privilege relating to statements made by the Minister of Internationnal Cooperation.

 

At 1:00 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
