The Standing Committee on Finance met in a televised session at 3:32 p.m. this day, in Room 237-C, Centre Block, the Chair, James Rajotte, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: Kelly Block, Robert Carrier, Bernard Généreux, Hon. John McCallum, Hon. John McKay, Massimo Pacetti, Daniel Paillé and James Rajotte.

 

Acting Members present: Dean Del Mastro for Ted Menzies, Laurie Hawn for Mike Wallace, Daryl Kramp for Russ Hiebert, Pat Martin for Thomas J. Mulcair and David Sweet for Ted Menzies.

Pursuant to the Order of Reference of Monday, April 19, 2010, the Committee resumed consideration of Bill C-9, An Act to implement certain provisions of the budget tabled in Parliament on March 4, 2010 and other measures.
 

The Committee commenced its clause-by-clause study of the Bill.

 

Pursuant to Standing Order 75(1), consideration of Clause 1 was postponed.
