The Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development met in camera at 3:33 p.m. this day, in Room 209, West Block, the Vice-Chair, Bernard Patry, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: Hon. Jim Abbott, Johanne Deschamps, Paul Dewar, Jean Dorion, Peter Goldring, James Lunney, Deepak Obhrai, Bernard Patry, Glen Douglas Pearson and Dave Van Kesteren.

 

Acting Members present: Alan Tonks for Hon. Bob Rae.

 

Associate Members present: Scott Reid.

 

In attendance: House of Commons: Julie Pelletier, Procedural Clerk. Library of Parliament: James Lee, Analyst; Melissa Radford, Analyst.

 
The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.
 

It was agreed, — That the Committee ask Gérard Latulippe, President of Rights & Democracy, to appear before the Committee, prior to Thursday, December 16, 2010, in order to discuss, and present to members of the Committee, the forensic audit report from Samson Bélair-Deloitte & Touche and the investigation report prepared by Sirco.

 
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed its study of human rights in Iran.
 

The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

 

It was agreed, — That the Committee resume consideration of the draft report on human rights in Iran at its meeting scheduled on Thursday, December 2, 2010.

 

At 5:22 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
