The Standing Committee on Natural Resources met at 3:35 p.m. this day, in Room 371, West Block, the Chair, Lee Richardson, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: Mike Allen, Catherine Bell, Claude DeBellefeuille, Jacques Gourde, Richard Harris, Mark Holland, Christian Ouellet, Lee Richardson, Todd Norman Russell, Lloyd St. Amand, Alan Tonks and Bradley R. Trost.

 

In attendance: Library of Parliament: Jean-Luc Bourdages, Analyst.

 

Witnesses: Enerconcept Technologies Inc.: Christian Vachon, Engineer, Business and Technological Development. Department of Natural Resources: Howard E. Brown, Assistant Deputy Minister, Energy Policy Sector; Tom Wallace, Director General, Electricity Resources Branch. Atomic Energy of Canada Limited: David F. Torgerson, Senior Vice-President, Technology.

 
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Wednesday, March 28, 2007, the Committee resumed its study of Greening of Electricity Consumption in Canada.
 

The witness made a statement and answered questions.

 
The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.
