The Standing Committee on Natural Resources met at 3:39 p.m. this day, in Room 112-N, Centre Block, the Chair, Lee Richardson, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: Mike Allen, Catherine Bell, Claude DeBellefeuille, Jacques Gourde, Mark Holland, Christian Ouellet, Lee Richardson, Todd Norman Russell, Lloyd St. Amand, Alan Tonks and Bradley R. Trost.

 

In attendance: Library of Parliament: Jean-Luc Bourdages, Analyst. Standing Committee on Natural Resources: Diane Deschamps, Committee Clerk.

 
The Committee proceeded to the consideration of a draft report on a question of privilege.
 

On motion of Alan Tonks, it was agreed, — That the draft report on the question of privilege be adopted.

 

On motion of Claude DeBellefeuille, it was agreed, — That the Chair and the Clerk be authorised to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

 

On motion of Alan Tonks, it was agreed, — That the Chair present the report to the House.

 

At 3:43 p.m., the Committee proceeded to sit in camera.

 
The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.
 

It was agreed, — That the Minister of Natural Resources, the Hon. Gary Lunn be invited to appear after the break in April in relation to Budget impacts and the Main Estimates 2007-2008.

 

It was agreed, — That the Committee travel to the Upper Churchill Hydro facility, Newfoundland and Labrador, on April 30, 2007, for a visit in relation to its study on the Greening of Canada's Energy Supply.

 

At 4:31 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
