The Standing Committee on Industry, Science and Technology met at 3:30 p.m. this day, in Room 308, West Block, the Chair, James Rajotte, presiding.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion agreed to by the Committee on Thusday, October 28, 2006, the Committee commenced its study of the policy direction to the CRTC.

The witnesses on Panel 1 ILEC (Incumbent Local Exchange Carriers) made statements and answered questions.

At 4:17 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:20 p.m., the sitting resumed.

The witnesses on Panel 2 Cable Television Companies made statements and answered questions.

At 5:09 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:12 p.m., the sitting resumed.

The witnesses on Panel 3 New Entrants and the Public Interest made statements and answered questions.
