| Pursuant to Standing Order 110 and 111, the Committee has considered the order in council of Mr. Bruce Johnson to the position of Director of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Wheat Board referred on November 10, 2006 (Sessional Paper No. 8540-391-2-04). That, the appointee Mr. Bruce Johnson as failed to respond to the concerns of the Committee with respect to demonstrating of qualifications necessary to fulfill its requirements expected of an appointee to the Board of Directors mainly to act in the best interests of the Canadian Wheat Board. |
Conformément aux articles 110 et 111 du Règlement, le comité a étudié l'ordre de référence de M. Bruce Johnson au poste d'administrateur du conseil d'administration de la Commission canadienne du blé renvoyé au comité le 10 novembre 2006 (Document parlementaire no 8540-391-2-04). Que, M. Bruce Johnson, qui fait l'objet d'une nomination par le gouverneur en conseil, n'a pas répondu aux attentes du Comité afin de démontrer qu'il détient les qualifications dont celui-ci s'attend d'une personne faisant l'objet d'une nomination au Conseil d'administration et agir dans les meilleurs intérêts de la Commission canadienne du blé. |
