The Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage met at 2:09 p.m. this day, in the Salon Cartier, Hotel Mariott Château Champlain, Montreal, Quebec, the Vice-Chair, Gary Schellenberger, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: Maka Kotto, Marc Lemay, Bev Oda, Gary Schellenberger and Mario Silva.

 

In attendance: Library of Parliament: Joseph Jackson, Senior Analyst; Sam Banks, Analyst.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed its study of Canadian Feature Film Industry.
 
Ré Jean Séguin made an opening statement and with the witnesses answered questions.
 
Raymond Vermette made an opening statement and with Chantal Barrette answered questions.
 

At 3:23 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 3:39 p.m., the sitting resumed.

 
Jacques Bensimon made an opening statement and with the witnesses answered questions.
 

Hervé Fisher made an opening statement and with the witnesses answered questions.
