The Standing Committee on Transport met at 11:07 a.m. this day, in Room 269, West Block, the Chair, Joe Comuzzi, presiding.

Member(s) of the Committee present: Joe Comuzzi, Bev Desjarlais, Roger Gallaway, André Harvey, Ovid Jackson, James Moore, Marcel Proulx, Raymond Simard, Lynne Yelich.

In attendance: From the Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: John Christopher, Principal Analyst.

Witness(es): From Air Canada Jazz: Joseph D. Randell, President and Chief Executive Officer.  From the Pacific Coastal Airlines Limited: Daryl Smith, Chief Executive Officer and Director. From WestJet Airlines: Mark Hill, Vice-President Strategic Planning.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed its study of Aviation Security Fees.

The witnesses made statements and answered questions.

At 12:05 p.m., Marcel Proulx, Vice-Chair (Government) took the Chair.

At 12:39 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
