MINUTES OF PROCEEDINGS

Meeting No. 15

Wednesday, March 19, 2003

The Standing Committee on Transport met in camera at 3:38 p.m. this day, in Room 269, West Block, the Chair, Joe Comuzzi, presiding.

Member(s) of the Committee present:  John Cannis, Joe Comuzzi, Bev Desjarlais, Liza Frulla, Roger Gallaway, Jim Gouk, Ovid Jackson, Stan Keyes, Mario Laframboise, Marcel Proulx.

In attendance: From the Research Branch of the Library of Parliament:  John Christopher, Principal Analyst.

The Committee met in camera for the consideration of its future business.

It was agreed, - That the Committee do make plans to travel across the country to hear testimonies in relation to the study of Bill C-26, the Canada Transportation Act, after it has been referred to it by the House.

It was agreed, - That Members of the Committee provide the Clerk with names of potential witnesses and the names of the cities in which they wish the Committee to hold hearings in relation to the study of Bill C-26, the Canada Transportation Act.

At 3:56 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
