Meeting No. 1
Wednesday, February 5, 2003
The Subcommittee on Veterans Affairs of the Standing Committee on National Defence and Veterans Affairs met at 5:30 p.m. this day, in Room 362, East Block, for the purpose of electing a Chair.
Members of the Subcommittee present: Roy Bailey, Ivan Grose, Dan McTeague, Louis Plamondon, Carmen Provenzano, Rose-Marie Ur, Elsie Wayne, Bob Wood.
Acting Member present: Peter Stoffer for Bill Blaikie.
Other Member present: Joe McGuire.
In attendance: From the Parliamentary Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Wolf Koerner and Michel Rossignol, Research Officers.
Pursuant to Standing Order 106(3), the Clerk presided over the election of the Chair.
On motion of Peter Stoffer, seconded by Elsie Wayne, it was agreed, --That Bob Wood be elected Chair of the Subcommittee.
Accordingly, Bob Wood was duly elected Chair of the Subcommittee.
At 5:37 p.m., the Subcommittee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
