MINUTES OF PROCEEDINGS
Meeting No. 1
Wednesday, November 27, 2002
The Subcommittee on Children and Youth at Risk of the Standing Committee on Human Resources Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities met at 3:22 p.m. this day, in Room 208, West Block, for the purpose of electing a Chair.
Member(s) of the Sub-Committee present: Libby Davies, John Godfrey, Monique Guay, Anita Neville, Larry Spencer, Diane St-Jacques and Alan Tonks.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Tonina Simeone, Research Officer.
The Clerk presided over the election of the Chair.
On motion of Diane St-Jacques, it was agreed, -- That John Godfrey be elected Chair of the Subcommittee.
Accordingly John Godfrey took the Chair.
It was agreed, - That Ethel Blondin-Andrew be invited to appear before the Subcommittee on December 4th, 2002 to discuss the Committee’s past report and future study.
On motion of Anita Neville, it was agreed, -- That the budget of the Subcommittee in the amount of 25,250 be adopted.
At 3:45 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
