Meeting No. 50

Tuesday, June 10, 2003

The Standing Committee on Government Operations and Estimates met at 3:40 p.m. this day, in Room 371, West Block, the Chair, Reg Alcock, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Reg Alcock, Paul Forseth, Robert Lanctôt, Judy Sgro and Paul Szabo.

In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Jack Stilborn, Analyst.

Witnesses: From the Privy Council Office: Alex Himelfarb, Clerk. From the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat: Jim Judd, Secretary of the Treasury Board and Comptroller General of Canada.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(c), consideration of Accountability, Values and Ethics in the Pubilc Service.

Alex Himelfarb and Jim Judd each made an opening statement and answered questions.

At 5:00 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
