The Standing Committee on Industry, Science and Technology met in a televised session at 3:36 p.m. this day, in Room 253-D, Centre Block, the Chair, Walt Lastewka, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Larry Bagnell, Paul Crête, Cheryl Gallant, Jocelyne Girard-Bujold, Walt Lastewka, Serge Marcil, Brian Masse, Dan McTeague, James Rajotte, Andy Savoy, Brent St. Denis.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Lalita Acharya; Dan Shaw, research officers.
Appearing: From the House of Commons: Hon. Allan Rock, Minister of Industry.
Pursuant to the Order of Reference of the House dated February 26, 2003, the Main Estimates for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2004, Votes 1, 5, L10, L15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 105, 110, 115, 120, 125, 130 and 135, under INDUSTRY.
Allan Rock made an opening statement and answered questions.
