Tuesday, January 28, 2003
The Standing Committee on Human Resources Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities met in camera at 3:35 p.m. this day, in Room 208, West Block, the Chair, Judi Longfield, presiding.
Member(s) of the Committee present: Eugène Bellemare, Libby Davies, Norman Doyle, Monique Guay, Judi Longfield, Gurbax Malhi, Raymond Simard, Monte Solberg, Diane St-Jacques, Alan Tonks and Suzanne Tremblay.
Other Member(s) present: Sébastien Gagnon.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Kevin Kerr and Bill Young, Research Officers.
The Committee proceeded to discuss its future business.
It was agreed, -- That the tentative schedule Jan.30th to February 13th be adopted.
It was agreed, -- That the Assistant Deputy Minister of the Department of Human Resources Development Canada be invited to appear regarding the Department’s Employment Insurance service delivery.
At 4:12 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
