The Standing Committee on Finance met in camera at 3:38 p.m. this day, in Room 307, West Block, the Chair, Sue Barnes, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Sue Barnes, Nick Discepola, Richard Harris, The Hon. Maria Minna, Shawn Murphy, Pierre Paquette, Pauline Picard, Tony Valeri.
Acting Members present: Jim Peterson for Gary Pillitteri.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: June Dewetering, Acting Principal Analyst; Blayne Haggart, Analyst.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed its study on the public interest implications of large bank mergers.
The Committee resumed consideration of the draft report.
At 6:15 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
