The Standing Committee on Citizenship and Immigration met in camera at 11:02 a.m. this day, in Room 308, West Block, the Chair, Joe Fontana, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Diane Ablonczy, Sarkis Assadourian, John Bryden, Yvon Charbonneau, Madeleine Dalphond-Guiral, Libby Davies, Joe Fontana, John O'Reilly, Massimo Pacetti, Jerry Pickard, David Price, Lynne Yelich.
Acting Member present: Andrew Telegdi for Sophia Leung.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Benjamin Dolin; analyst, Law and Government Division.
Witness: Benjamin Dolin; analyst, Law and Government Division.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), consideration of Settlement and Integration Programs (see Minutes of Proceedings, Monday, February 10, 2003, Meeting No 20).
The Committee commenced its study of a draft report.
The witness made a statement and answered questions.
