The Standing Committee on Human Resources Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities met in camera at 11:07 a.m. this day, in Room 209, West Block, the Chair, Peter Adams, presiding.
Member(s) of the Committee present: Peter Adams, Jeannot Castonguay, Paul Crête, Monique Guay, Judi Longfield, Joe McGuire, Val Meredith, Carol Skelton, Greg Thompson and Alan Tonks.
Acting Member(s) present: David Price for Diane St-Jacques, Ivan Groose for Tony Ianno, Gary McCormick for Anita Neville and Shawn Murphy for Raymonde Folco.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Kevin Kerr, Julie Mackenzie and Bill Young, Research Officers.
It was agreed, -- That the expenses of Laurier Gilbert, witness that was to appear but did not actually make a presentation before the Committee on March 20th regarding the study of Bill C-2 be reimbursed.
The Committee proceeded to study its draft report on Employment Insurance.
At 1:03 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
