The Standing Committee on Finance met at the Toronto Marriott Eaton Centre Hotel at 8:32 a.m., the Chair, Maurizio Bevilacqua, presiding.

Pursuant to Standing Order 83.1, the Committee continued its study on Pre-Budget Consultations.

 

Manuel Buchwald, Dianne Lester, Deanna Groetzinger, Kathy Walker, David McKinnon and David Murray made statements and answered questions.

 

At 10:10 o'clock a.m., the sitting was suspended.

 

At 10:18 o'clock a.m., the sitting resumed.

 

Elyse Allen, Patrick O'Hanlon, Peter Gilgan, Paul Thériault and Donna Charbonneau made statements and, with the other witnesses, answered questions.

 

At 10:53 o'clock a.m., Roy Cullen took the Chair.

 

At 10:55 o'clock a.m., Maurizio Bevilacqua, took the Chair.
