The Standing Committee on Human Resources Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities met in a televised session at 11:04 a.m. this day, in Room 253-D, Centre Block, the Chair, Peter Adams, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Peter Adams, Paul Crête, Raymonde Folco, Larry McCormick, Rey Pagtakhan, Judy Sgro, Stéphan Tremblay, Maurice Vellacott and Bryon Wilfert.
Acting Member present: Janko Peric for Bonnie Brown.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Kevin Kerr, Julie Mackenzie and Bill Young, Research Officers.
Witnesses : As Individual: Arthur Kroeger. From the Gowling, Strathy and Henderson: Sean Moore, Public Policy Advisor. From the University of Ottawa: Gilles Paquet, Professor.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108 (2), study of HRDC Grants and Contributions.
The witnesses made opening statements and answered questions.
At 12:59 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
