Meeting No. 59

Wednesday, May 26, 1999

The Standing Committee on Transport met at 3:36 p.m. this day, in Room 269, West Block, the Chair, Ray Bonin, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Ray Bonin, Roy Cullen, Michel Guimond, Ovid Jackson, Stan Keyes, Lee Morrison, Lou Sekora.

In attendance: From the Parliamentary Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: John Christopher, Researcher.

Witnesses: From the Air Line Pilots Association (International): Captain Michael Lynch, President, Canada Board; Captain Kent Hardisty, Vice-President, Canada Board; Captain Dan Adamus, Chairman, Legislative Affairs, Canada Board.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed consideration of a study on the Competitiveness of Canada's Air Transportation System.

Captain Michael Lynch made an opening statement and, with Captain Kent Hardisty and Captain Dan Adamus, answered questions.

At 5:08 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
