M-300 — The government should invest in a comprehensive energy efficiency strategy, thus: (a) exploiting the considerable job creation potential of energy efficiency; (b) encouraging the development of high tech expertise and export opportunities and (c) increasing the number of federally owned buildings (of which there are 50000) retrofitted for energy efficiency through the Federal Buildings Initiative. - Mr. Martin (Winnipeg Centre) |
