The Standing Committee on National Defence and Veterans Affairs met at 9:00 a.m. this day, in Room 306, West Block, the Chair, Pat O'Brien, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Robert Bertrand, Hec Clouthier, Gordon Earle, Maurice Godin, Peter Goldring, , Pat O'Brien, John O'Reilly, John Richardson and Bob Wood.
Acting Member present: Elsie Wayne for David Price.
Witnesses: From the Halifax Rifles Armoury Association: Maj G. Kendall Foster (Retired), Chairman, Restoration Committee; BGen E.A.C. Amy (Retired), Member, Restoration Committee.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed its study on Veterans Issues.
The witnesses made opening statements and answered questions.
At 10:53 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
