In accordance with its Order of Reference of Tuesday, October 6, 1998, your Committee has considered Bill C-284, An Act to amend the Criminal Records Act and the Canadian Human Rights Act (offences against children) and has agreed to recommend on Thursday, May 6, 1999, that Bill C-284 be not further proceeded with as the subject matter of the Bill has been captured under Bill C-69, An Act to amend the Criminal Records Act and to amend another Act in consequence. |
Conformément à son Ordre de renvoi du mardi 6 octobre 1998, votre Comité a étudié le projet de loi C-284, Loi modifiant la Loi sur le casier judiciaire et la Loi canadienne sur les droits de la personne (infractions contre des enfants), et a convenu, le jeudi 6 mai 1999 de recommander de ne pas poursuivre le projet de loi C-284, la portée de celui-ci étant reflétée par le projet de loi C-69, Loi modifiant la Loi sur le casier judiciaire et une autre loi en conséquence. |
