Tuesday, June 16, 1998

The Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights met in a televised session at 9:07 a.m. this day, in Room 253-D, Centre Block, the Chair, Shaughnessy Cohen, presiding.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108 (2), the Committee resumed a study of the Victims’ Role in the criminal Justice System (See Minutes of Proceedings of Tuesday, May 12, 1998, Meeting No. 68).

The participants discussed the role of the victims in the criminal justice system.

At 10:15 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 10:55 a.m., the sitting resumed.

At 12:43 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
