The Standing Committee on Industry met in a televised session at 9:04 a.m. this day, in Room 253-D, Centre Block, the Chair, Susan Whelan, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Sue Barnes, Eugène Bellemare, Marlene Jennings, Stan Keyes, Francine Lalonde, Walt Lastewka, Eric Lowther, Ian Murray, Jim Pankiw, Janko Peric, and Susan Whelan.

Mr. Garth Whyte made an opening statement and answered questions.

At 9:49 a.m., the sitting was suspended.
