Ottawa, May 31, 1999--The Tribunal on Human Rights in Colombia recently released its findings after concluding public inquiries in Toronto and Montreal. As a result, the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade will conduct hearings on the current situation in Colombia, as soon as possible.

Ottawa, le 31 mai 1999 - Le tribunal des droits de la personne de la Colombie a récemment publié ses conclusions à la suite des enquêtes publiques menées à Toronto et à Montréal. Par conséquent, le Comité permanent des affaires étrangères et du commerce international mènera des audiences sur la situation en Colombie aussitôt que possible.
