ORDER OF REFERENCE

Extract from the Journals of the House of Commons of Wednesday, November 20, 1996:

At 5:37 p.m., pursuant to Standing Order 45, the House proceeded to the taking of the deferred recorded division on the motion of Mr. Gagliano (Minister of Labour), seconded by Mr. MacAulay (Secretary of State (Veterans) (Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency)),--That Bill C-66, An Act to amend the Canada Labour Code (Part I) and the Corporations and Labour Unions Returns Act and to make consequential amendments to other Acts, be referred forthwith to the Standing Committee on Human Resources Development.

The question was put on the motion and it was agreed to on division.

Accordingly, the Bill was referred to the Standing Committee on Human Resources Development.
