M-593 National Strategy for Seniors

Motion Text

That, in the opinion of the House, the government should work with the provinces, territories, municipalities, seniors' organizations and other stakeholders to develop and implement a National Strategy for Seniors that addresses the needs of Canada’s aging population, including (i) affordable housing, (ii) healthcare, homecare, healthy living and related issues, (iii) income security, including the restoration of the qualifying age for Old Age Security and Guaranteed Income Supplement to 65, (iv) quality of life, (v) equality for all seniors.
