M-509 Canadians with disabilities

That, in the opinion of the House, the Minister of Employment and Social Development, together with the Minister for Democratic Reform, in consultation with Elections Canada and disability advocacy groups, should examine the Access to Elected Office Strategy employed in the United Kingdom and report to the House of Commons on possible initiatives to improve the participation of Canadians with disabilities in Canada’s democratic processes, including as candidates for office.
