Minutes of Proceedings
Tarik Khan made a statement and, with Hilary Childs-Adams, Gwyn Kutz and Stephen Salewicz, answered questions.
It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $3,025.00, for the study of the Situation in the Strait of Taiwan, be adopted.
It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $3,025.00, for the study of Vaccine equity and intellectual property rights, be adopted.
It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $1,300.00, for the study of Mandate Letters of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Minister of International Development, be adopted.
It was agreed, — That the committee host an informal meeting with Kelly Clements, Deputy High Commissioner of the United Nations High Commission for Refugees.
It was agreed, — That the Clerk be instructed to re-affirm the committee's decision to invite both the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Minister of International Development to appear for not less than two hours each on the subject of their mandate letters.
At 5:41 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
