Martin Champoux gave notice of the following motion:
That, pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the committee undertake a study of six (6) meetings regarding the protection of freedom of expression and the means the Government should have at its disposal to ensure its exercise.
At 5:14 p.m., the sitting was suspended.
At 5:21 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.
It was agreed, — That Hockey Canada be ordered to provide the committee a copy of the contract between Hockey Canada and the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) that determines the status and rights of the players.
At 5:48 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
