Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, the committee resumed its study of food price inflation.

Pierre Lynch, Ken Whitehurst and Denise Allen made statements and answered questions.

At 4:58 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:05 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Jean-François Archambault, Sébastien Léveillé, John Lawford and Amy Hill made statements and answered questions.

At 5:43 p.m., pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the committee continue to sit.

It was agreed, — That the speaking notes submitted by Ms. Alanna Koch from the Global Institute for Food Security to the committee be appended to today’s Evidence.

At 5:52 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
