The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

At 4:21 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:25 p.m., the sitting resumed.

It was agreed, — That the draft news release, as amended, for publication on the committee’s website and for distribution upon presentation of the report on the study of challenges of the parliamentary interpretation service in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic to the House be adopted.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(f) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, October 22, 2020, the committee resumed its study of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the government’s ability to deliver information in both official languages.

The committee commenced consideration of a draft report.

At 5:38 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
