Pursuant to the order of reference of Wednesday, February 24, 2021 and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, February 25, 2021, the committee resumed consideration of Bill C-206, An Act to amend the Greenhouse Gas Pollution Pricing Act (qualifying farming fuel).

Linda Delli Santi, Aaron Coristine and Katie Ward made statements and answered questions.

At 4:27 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:32 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Mike Ammeter and Dan Kelly made statements and, with Dave Carey, answered questions.

It was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $3,350, for the study of Bill C-205, An Act to amend the Health of Animals Act, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the senior officials of the Department of Agriculture and Agri-Food, the Department of Finance and the Department of the Environment deliver a joint opening statement of up to five minutes during their appearance on Bill C-206, An Act to amend the Greenhouse Gas Pollution Pricing Act (qualifying farming fuel) on Tuesday, May 4, 2021.

At 5:29 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
