Chris Forbes and Colleen Barnes made statements and, with the other witness, answered questions.
At 6:25 p.m., the sitting was suspended.
At 6:31 p.m., the sitting resumed.
It was agreed, — That the recognized parties submit their suggested witnesses electronically to the clerk of the committee no later than Thursday, May 7, 2020, at 10:30 a.m., EDT.
It was agreed, — That the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food be invited to appear at the meeting of Friday, May 8, 2020; in the event that she is not available to appear on that date, that the clerk invite organizations included in the five witness priorities already expressed by the recognized parties, provided that the minister can appear as soon as possible afterward.
At 7:01 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
