The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $27,300, for the study of Canada's National Security Framework, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $27,300, for the study of Bill C-22, An Act to establish the National Security and Intelligence Committee of Parliamentarians and to make consequential amendments to certain Acts, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $20,700, for the study of Bill C-226, An Act to amend the Criminal Code (offences in relation to conveyances) and the Criminal Records Act and to make consequential amendments to other Acts, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the deadline for the receipt of briefs in relation to the Committee’s study on Canada's National Security Framework be extended to 11:59 p.m. on Friday, November 18, 2016.

It was agreed, — That the evidence received by the Committee as part of its study of Canada’s National Security Framework be deemed adduced in relation to the Committee’s study of Bill C-22.

It was agreed, — That the evidence received by the Committee as part of its study of Bill C-22 be deemed adduced in relation to the Committee’s study of Canada’s National Security Framework.

At 5:16 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
