Pursuant to the motion adopted by the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development on Thursday, February 4, 2016, the Subcommittee proceeded to a briefing on the situation of human rights defenders in Honduras and Guatemala.

Alex Neve, Felipe Benitez, Luis Fernando García Monroy, Felix Molina and Bertha Isabel Zúniga Cáceres, by videoconference, made statements and answered questions.

At 2:02 p.m., the Subcommittee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
