Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Subcommittee proceeded to a briefing on the global human rights situation of Christians.

Floyd Brobbel, by videoconference from Oakville, Ontario, Lily Kuo, by videoconference from Irvine, California, Anna Lee Stangl, by videoconference from Washington, D.C., and Mindy Michels, made statements and answered questions.

At 1:43 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 1:43 p.m., the sitting resumed.

The Subcommittee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Subcommittee business.

On motion of David Sweet, it was agreed, — That the Subcommittee proceed to sit in camera.

At 1:57 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 1:57 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

It was agreed, — That the Subcommittee would express its support for the government's recognition of the Romani genocide through a press release.

At 2:02 p.m., the Subcommittee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
