Minutes of Proceedings
It was agreed, — That the Committee authorize the Chair to send a letter on behalf of the Committee to the Speaker of the House to take whatever measures possible to ensure that the staff of the Committee be able to attend the meeting of the Canadian Council of Public Accounts Committees to be held in Fredericton, New Brunswick, from Sunday, September 10, 2017 to Tuesday, September 12, 2017, in case the House is prorogued between now and then; and that the Chair be delegated to meet with the Speaker to explain to him personally the situation, especially the non-partisan aspect.
At 4:23 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
