The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That the Committee write a letter to the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada regarding a request made by the Canadian Psychological Association to change Section 672 of the Criminal Code of Canada.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of Bill C-75, An Act to amend the Criminal Code, the Youth Criminal Justice Act and other Acts and to make consequential amendments to other Acts, the analysts prepare a news release for publication on the Committee's website and for distribution.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of Bill C-75, An Act to amend the Criminal Code, the Youth Criminal Justice Act and other Acts and to make consequential amendments to other Acts, members of the Committee send a list of suggested witnesses, including their contact information, to the Clerk of the Committee no later than Wednesday, June 13, 2018.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, June 8, 2017, the Committee resumed its study of human trafficking in Canada.

The Committee proceeded to give drafting instructions to the analysts for a report.

At 4:09 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
