Pursuant to Standing Order 83.1, the Committee resumed its pre-budget consultations in advance of the 2018 budget.

The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

It was agreed, — That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Driving Inclusive Growth: Spurring Productivity and Competitiveness in Canada".

It was agreed, — That the Chair, Clerk and Analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

It was agreed, — That dissenting or supplementary opinions of no longer than 10 pages be in Calibri 12 point font, single line spacing and be submitted electronically, in both official languages, to the Clerk of the Committee, no later than 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 7, 2017.

ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.

It was agreed, — That the Analysts and the Clerk of the Committee, in consultation with the Chair, prepare a news release for publication on the Committee’s website and for distribution upon presentation of the report to the House.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of the Pre-Budget Consultations in advance of the 2018 budget, the Committee defray the hospitality expenses related to working meals held during its travel to Washington, D.C. on November 30, 2017 and in New York, N.Y. on December 1, 2017.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That the Chair respond to the letter from the Minister of Finance dated November 9, 2017, indicating that the Committee will undertake the third five year parliamentary review of the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act (PCMLTFA).

At 4:44 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
