Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, April 2, 2019, the Committee proceeded to a briefing on the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission report.

The witnesses made statements and answered questions.

At 4:42 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:47 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, March 29, 2018, the Committee resumed its study of remuneration models for artists and creative industries.

The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

It was agreed, — That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Shifting Paradigms".

It was agreed, — That the Chair, Clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

It was agreed, — That the Committee request that the government table a comprehensive response to the report.

It was agreed, — That the Committee append to its report dissenting or supplementary opinions, immediately after the signature of the Chair, provided that they are no more than 2 pages in length in 12 point font, single line spacing and to be submitted electronically, in both official languages, to the Clerk of the Committee, no later than May 8, 2019.

ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.

At 5:16 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
