Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, the Committee commenced its study of homeless veterans.

Faith McIntyre, by videoconference from Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, and Robert Tomljenovic, by teleconference from Mississauga, Ontario, made statements and answered questions.

At 4:35 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:37 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, November 9, 2017, the Committee commenced its study of medical cannabis and veterans’ well-being.

Cyd Courchesne made a statement and, with Alexandra Heber, answered questions.

At 5:29 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:29 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That the Minister of Veterans Affairs be invited to appear before the Committee, on December 4 or December 6, 2018, on the subject of the Supplementary Estimates (A), 2018-19.

It was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $ 33,950, for the study of homeless veterans, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $ 39,100, for the study of medical cannabis and veterans’ well-being, be adopted.

At 5:31 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
