The Standing Committee on Government Operations and Estimates met in camera at 11:04 a.m. this day, in Room C-160, 1 Wellington Street, the Chair, Pat Martin, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Mark Adler, Tarik Brahmi, Brad Butt, Hon. Gerry Byrne, Greg Kerr, Guy Lauzon, Pat Martin, Mathieu Ravignat, Chris Warkentin and Wai Young.

In attendance: Library of Parliament: André Léonard, Analyst ; Lindsay McGlashan, Analyst.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That the Third Report from the Subcommittee on Agenda and Procedure, which read as follows, be concurred in as amended:

That the following calendar of activities be adopted:

Thursday, May 7, 2015: 11:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. — Resuming Study on Programs and Activities of the Canadian General Standards Board Witnesses; 12:45 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. — Drafting Instructions for a Report.

Tuesday, May 12, 2015: Resuming Study on Main Estimates 2015-16 and Report on Plans and Priorities; 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. — Office of the Public Sector Integrity Commissioner Witnesses; 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. — Canada School of Public Service Witnesses.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(c)(i) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Monday, May 5, 2014, the Committee resumed its study of the programs and activities of the Canadian General Standards Board.

It was agreed, — That, at least two more meetings be held in order to hear more witnesses on the study on the Programs and Activities of the Canadian General Standards Board.

At 11:50 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
