The Standing Committee on Procedure and House Affairs met in camera at 11:01 a.m. this day, in Room 112-N, Centre Block, the Chair, Joe Preston, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: Scott Armstrong, Nathan Cullen, Parm Gill, Alexandrine Latendresse, Tom Lukiwski, Dave MacKenzie, Costas Menegakis, Joe Preston, Scott Reid, Craig Scott and Nycole Turmel.

 

Acting Members present: Hon. Stéphane Dion for Hon. Dominic LeBlanc, Yvon Godin for Nycole Turmel, Hon. Rob Moore for Tom Lukiwski and Mark Strahl for Costas Menegakis.

 

In attendance: Library of Parliament: Andre Barnes, Analyst; Michel Bédard, Analyst.

 
Pursuant to Standing Order 32(5), the Committee resumed its study of the report of the Federal Electoral Boundaries Commission for Ontario 2012, referred to the Committee on Monday, February 25, 2013.
 

The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

 

It was agreed, — That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.

 

It was agreed, — That the Chair, Clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

 

ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.

 
The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.
 

It was agreed, — That the Committee send a letter to Dennis Bevington, Member of Parliament, in response to questions regarding the constituency of Western Artic.

 

At 11:45 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
