Monday, October 16, 2000

The Standing Committee on Fisheries and Oceans met at 8:38 a.m. this day, in St. Andrews, New Brunswick, the Chair, Wayne Easter, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: John Cummins, John Duncan, Wayne Easter, Peter Stoffer.

Other Member present: Greg Thompson.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed its study on Aquaculture

Thomas Sephton made an opening statement and answered questions.

Claire Le Page made and opening statement and, along with Kim Lipsett, Paul Monti and Greg Shanks, answered questions.

Nell Halse made an opening statement and answered questions.

At 12:45 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
