M-556 Remote regions tax credit

That, in the opinion of the House, the government should study the possibility of reintroducing the remote regions tax credit for residents of the Gaspé peninsula and of increasing the current remote regions tax credit for residents of the Magdalen Islands in order to offset the effects of Employment Insurance reform measures, and in particular the effects of the end of the extended employment insurance benefits pilot project.
