Pursuant to Standing Order 28(5), the Speaker caused to be published the following messages:

Messages from the Senate

Pursuant to Standing Order 32(1.1), messages received from the Senate were deposited with the Acting Clerk of the House earlier today as follows:

— ORDERED: That a message be sent to the House of Commons to acquaint it that the Senate has passed Bill C-51, An Act to give effect to the self-government treaty recognizing the Whitecap Dakota Nation / Wapaha Ska Dakota Oyate and to make consequential amendments to other Acts, without amendment;
— ORDERED: That a message be sent to the House of Commons to acquaint it that, in relation to Bill C-18, An Act respecting online communications platforms that make news content available to persons in Canada, the Senate does not insist on its amendments with which the House of Commons disagreed;
— ORDERED: That a message be sent to the House of Commons to acquaint it that the Senate has passed Bill C-54, An Act for granting to His Majesty certain sums of money for the federal public administration for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2024;
— ORDERED: That a message be sent to the House of Commons to acquaint it that the Senate has passed Bill C-55, An Act for granting to His Majesty certain sums of money for the federal public administration for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2024;
— ORDERED: That a message be sent to the House of Commons to acquaint it that the Senate has passed Bill C-47, An Act to implement certain provisions of the budget tabled in Parliament on March 28, 2023, without amendment.
Royal Assent

A message was received informing the Commons that on June 22, 2023, at 6:34 p.m., Her Excellency the Governor General signified royal assent by written declaration to the following bills:

Bill C-9, An Act to amend the Judges Act — Chapter No. 18;
